Section 01

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms describe rules for using the Valor Health website and online resources. By accessing or using the website, you agree to use it responsibly and in accordance with these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the website.

These Terms apply to website content, patient education materials, recovery tools, forms, calculators, interactive features, and general online communications. Separate patient agreements, consent forms, financial policies, clinical documents, and privacy notices may apply if you seek or receive services.

Valor Health may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

  • Website use must be lawful and respectful.
  • Clinical care is governed by additional documents and consents.
  • Privacy and HIPAA notices may apply to health information.
  • Updates may be posted without individual notice.
Section 02

Website content and permitted use

Valor Health provides website content for personal, non-commercial education, admissions preparation, and recovery support. You may read, print, or share pages for personal use or to help someone explore care, as long as you do not misrepresent the content or remove important notices.

You may not copy large portions of the website for commercial use, scrape content, interfere with site security, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious code, impersonate another person, submit false information, or use the website in a way that disrupts care access for others.

We may restrict or block access if we believe website use is abusive, unlawful, harmful, automated in a disruptive way, or inconsistent with these Terms.

  • Personal education and family support use is welcome.
  • Commercial copying or misleading reuse is prohibited.
  • Security testing or automated scraping requires written permission.
  • Harassing, fraudulent, or harmful submissions are not allowed.
Section 03

No emergency service through the website

The website is not an emergency response system. Forms, tools, chat features, emails, and general contact messages may not be reviewed immediately. If there is an emergency, call 911. If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, emotional crisis, or risk of self-harm, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Even when Valor Health offers 24/7 phone support, website features should not be used as the only method for urgent or life-threatening situations. Phone lines, emergency departments, crisis teams, and local emergency services are more appropriate for immediate risks.

If you submit a message describing urgent risk, we may take steps permitted by law to protect safety, but you should not rely on website submission as a substitute for emergency contact.

  • Call 911 for immediate danger or medical emergencies.
  • Call or text 988 for suicidal thoughts or behavioral health crisis.
  • Call Valor Health directly for urgent admissions questions.
  • Do not wait for an online response during a crisis.
Section 04

Admissions, insurance, and payment information

Website descriptions of programs, benefits, insurance verification, cost estimates, timelines, and availability are general information. They are not guarantees of admission, coverage, authorization, reimbursement, payment amount, clinical fit, or treatment outcome.

Insurance coverage depends on plan benefits, medical necessity, payer rules, deductibles, exclusions, authorization requirements, network status, and other factors. Estimates may change after payer review, claims processing, clinical updates, or benefit changes.

Admission decisions are based on safety, medical necessity, clinical appropriateness, patient needs, available services, and other factors. Valor Health may recommend another provider or level of care when it appears safer or more appropriate.

  • Insurance estimates are preliminary and subject to verification.
  • Admission requires clinical and operational review.
  • Program fit may change after assessment.
  • Financial policies may be provided separately during admissions.
Section 05

User submissions

When you submit information through the website, you agree that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to provide it. If you submit information about someone else, you should have appropriate authority or permission unless you are seeking general guidance in a way that does not violate privacy or safety obligations.

Do not submit threats, harassment, unlawful content, malicious files, spam, false insurance information, or content that infringes someone else's rights. Valor Health may remove, ignore, restrict, or report abusive submissions as appropriate.

Health-related submissions may be handled according to privacy laws and our notices. General website feedback may be used to improve content, usability, and services.

  • Provide accurate contact and inquiry information.
  • Avoid sending unnecessary sensitive details through general forms.
  • Do not impersonate patients, providers, or family members.
  • Use direct phone support for urgent or highly sensitive discussions.
Section 06

Intellectual property

Website text, design, graphics, logos, page layouts, tool concepts, and other materials are owned by Valor Health or used with permission unless otherwise stated. Trademarks, service marks, and brand elements may not be used without authorization.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, frame, or create derivative works from website content for commercial purposes without written permission. Limited personal sharing for education, recovery planning, or family support is permitted when the content is not altered in a misleading way.

If you believe content on the website infringes your rights, contact Valor Health with enough detail for review.

  • Valor Health brand elements require permission for reuse.
  • Personal educational sharing is generally allowed.
  • Commercial copying and misleading edits are prohibited.
  • Copyright or trademark concerns can be submitted for review.
Section 07

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The website is provided on an as-available basis. Valor Health does not promise that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, current, or compatible with every device or browser. We may change, suspend, or remove content at any time.

To the extent permitted by law, Valor Health disclaims warranties related to website use and is not liable for damages arising from reliance on general website content, inability to access the site, third-party links, user errors, unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control, or non-emergency communications that are not reviewed immediately.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit rights that cannot legally be limited, including rights related to healthcare privacy, patient safety, or applicable consumer protections.

  • Website content is general and may change.
  • Use professional judgment before relying on online information.
  • Third-party links and tools have separate risks.
  • Mandatory legal rights remain in effect.
Section 08

Governing practices and contact

These Terms are intended to be interpreted consistently with applicable healthcare, privacy, consumer protection, and state laws. If a portion is found unenforceable, the remaining portions should continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted.

Questions about website use, admissions, privacy, accessibility, or these Terms can be directed to Valor Health through the contact page or main phone number. For immediate clinical emergencies, use emergency resources instead of website communication.

  • Contact Valor Health for non-urgent Terms questions.
  • Use the Privacy Policy and HIPAA Notice for confidentiality details.
  • Use the Accessibility page to report barriers.
  • Call 911 or 988 for immediate safety needs.
